Computing in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology: A Collection

Bioinformatics and computational biology are up-and-coming disciplines that have recently made waves in technological fields and in the media. They’re two of the few fields that require a wide spectrum of knowledge, from biology to computing and everything in between. Wikipedia defines bioinformatics as involving “the use of techniques from applied mathematics, informatics, statistics, computer science, chemistry, and biochemistry to solve biological problems, usually on the molecular level."
